Construction Technician Responsibilities | WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
- Install drain, sewer, and water lines
- Cut pipes to desired lengths
- Cover pipes with earth or other materials
- Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
- Excavation in order to lay pipes
- Use of hand tools, digging equipment
- Drive truck with trailer
Construction Technician Qualifications | WHAT YOU BRING
- Experience in excavation including pipe installation, pipe bursting, and pipe relining preferred
- Able to lift up to 80 lbs
- Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
- Proper operation of excavation equipment such as a backhoe
- Willingness to "get in the trenches" and expose lines by hand
- Utilization of basic tools as well as sewer cleaning equipment, such as a sewer jet or Picote
- Professional demeanor when onsite to ensure customer comfort and satisfaction
- Driver's license in good standing
